The Minister of Foreign
Affairs Mr Ioannis Kasoulides had a telephone conversation yesterday, two hours
after the announcement of the new Government of Lebanon, with his new Lebanese
counterpart Mr Gebran Bassil, whom he congratulated on the assumption of
his new duties.
During their
conversation, Mr Kasoulides and Mr Bassil expressed their wish for a meeting at
the earliest possible, within the framework of the cordial and close
cooperation of the two neighboring countries.
