The President of the Republic travels to
Athens
for Greece-Cyprus-Egypt Tripartite
Conference
The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, will travel to
Greece today, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of
Energy, and the Deputy Government Spokesman, in order to participate in the
Greece-Cyprus-Egypt Tripartite Meeting that will take place on 9 December, in
Athens.
In the morning of 9 December, a private meeting will take place
between the President of the Republic and his Egyptian counterpart, Mr Abdel
Fattah Al-Sisi, followed by bilateral consultations between the delegations of
the two countries.
Afterwards, a private meeting between the President of the Republic
and the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr Alexis Tsipras, will take place and then
bilateral consultations between the delegations of the two countries will
follow.
Later on, President Anastasiades, President Sisi and Prime Minister
Tsipras will hold a private meeting that will be followed by tripartite
consultations among the delegations of the three countries.
President Anastasiades, President Sisi and Prime Minister Tsipras
will then make remarks to the media.
President Anastasiades and President Sisi will later attend a lunch
hosted by Mr Tsipras in their honor.
In the afternoon, on the same day, President Anastasiades will meet
with the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
