Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues travel advice for
Libya
The citizens of the Republic of Cyprus are advised
against all travel to Libya, as the security situation continues to
deteriorate.
All Cypriot citizens who reside in the country, are
advised to inform the Cypriot competent Authorities (see below for contact
details) on their current status, and are advised to leave the country as
quickly and safely as possible.
In case of emergency, Cypriot citizens can contact the
Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Libya or the Duty Officer of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs (MFA) at +35 7 99660129, the Crisis Management Department at
+35 7 22801000, or the Consular Affairs Department at the MFA at +35 7
