The President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades received today,
at the Presidential Palace, the President of the Eurogroup and Finance Minister
of the Netherlands Mr J. Dijsselbloem, who was accompanied by the Minister of
Finance Mr Harris Georgiades.
After the meeting Mr Dijsselbloem told the Press that “it was a very
good meeting. Of course we met a year ago when we had to take the very difficult
decisions for Cyprus. But a lot of work has been done over the year and I
complemented the President and his government for all the work that has been
done.
We stand ready from the Eurogroup to support Cyprus when necessary.
It was a very good meeting.”
