TRNC NEWS HEADLINES PRIME MINISTER YORGANCIOGLU INDICATED THAT HE APPROVES THE AGREEMENT KTFF MADE






Prime Mİnister Yorgancıoğlu pointed out that sports are always damaged when involved with politics. Prime Minister spoke related to the agreement signed between Cyprus Turkish football Federation KTFF and KOP.


Adding that Sports have specific laws Yorgancıoğlu pointed out that the cooperation between KTFF and KOP had nothing to do with politics. Yorgancıoğlu said that he approved the signed agreement.
Yorgancıoglu continued as:”I trust KTFF and believe that they will not allow any political abuse. The content of agreement and the position of the federation are the essential part.
Prime Minister Yorgancıoglu said that he did not believe that the agreement would put the Cyprus Turkish side in a difficult position in the negotiations.
TURKISH ENERGY MINISTER YILDIZ: ‘PETROL AND NATURAL GAS BELONG TO WHOLE CYPRUS’
Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yıldız said that petrol and natural gas explored anywhere in Cyprus belonged to the whole Cyprus. A constructive point regarding the issue should be reached in 2014.
As an answer to a question regarding the petrol and natural gas researches, Yıldız added that Greek Cypriot side and Greece made constructive and positive statements on the issue which was supported by Turkey. Stressing that natural gas and petrol is a reason for peace; Yıldız said ‘I believe that there will be a development on the issue in 2014. Our preference especially technically and politically is not to be in disputed areas in 2014. At the moment, Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa seismic exploration vessel is in the Mediterranean and it is continuing its studies outside of dispute areas. Natural gas to be explored in the Mediterranean whether in Israel or in the South Cyprus should belong to the whole Cyprus. We should build such a system. How petrol is explored in Iraq and it belongs to the whole Iraq, it is same for Cyprus. Petrol and Natural Gas to be explored in Cyprus should belong to the whole Cyprus. We should reach such a constructive point in 2014’.
