The Government welcomes the setting
up of EBRD’s Offices in Cyprus, the Government Spokesman, Mr Nikos
Christodoulides, said today.
Speaking to the Press, at the
Presidential Palace, the Government Spokesman said that the Government welcomes
the decision of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development to open
Offices in Cyprus.
He added that the Bank’s presence
here as of 1 September, “is tangible proof that we are on the right track. Their
presence in Cyprus sends messages to the international investors regarding the
opportunities that are offered in our country.”
