PROGRAM OF CULTURAL EVENTS
IN CYPRUS

On the occasion of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European
Union, during the first semester of 2014, the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus, in
cooperation with the Cypriot competent authorities of the Republic of Cyprus,
presents the following program of cultural events.
1. Saturday 11 January 2014
Theater: “Only one life to live” of George Tzavellas.
Director: Konstantinos Rigos.
National Theater Organization of Cyprus (THOC)
9, Grigori Afxentiou str. Nicosia, at 20:30 (english
subtitles).
The program in Nicosia will last for 8 weeks. The
same theatrical play will be presented later in Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and
Paralimni. Detailed program will be announced in due time.

Music concert: Tribute to greek composer Manos
Hadzidakis with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.

“Reconnection”: Group exhibition of arts by young
cypriot artists, graduates from University Schools of Fine Arts in Greece.
In cooperation with the Cultural Services of the
Ministry of Education and Culture, the Cyprus Fine Arts Chamber (EKATE) and the
Embassy of Greece.
