Travel Advice by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Egypt





The citizens of the Republic of Cyprus, who are permanent residents or intend to travel to Egypt, are advised to avoid non essential travel to certain areas in the country, to monitor news reports for any developments, and follow instructions of the local Authorities.


 

It is further noted that tourist areas including Giza 6th October City, the Giza Pyramids, Luxor, Aswan, Sharm el Sheikh and the St. Catherine’s Monastery in Mount Sinai are fully accessible and operational.
