The Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the
Minister
of State for Europe at the
German Federal Foreign Office
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ioannis Kasoulides, met today
with the Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office, Mr
Michael Roth, in the framework of the two-day visit of the German Minister of
State to Cyprus.
During the meeting the Ministers discussed the bilateral relations of
Cyprus and Germany and ways for their further enhancement both in bilateral and
European level, as well as the issue of migration and the developments in Syria
that are currently in the center of the European Union’s agenda. Moreover,
Minister Kasoulides briefed Mr Roth on the latest developments in the
negotiations process for finding a solution to the Cyprus problem.
Minister Kasoulides and Mr Roth presided over official talks of the
delegations of the two countries, followed by a lunch hosted by the Foreign
Minister in honour of the German Minister of State and the German
delegation.
