Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) - January 2016
-1,1% rate of inflation in Cyprus, as measured by the
HICP
The Statistical Service announces that the evolution of
the HICP for January 2016 is as follows:
l The inflation for January 2016 decreased at a rate of -1.1% compared to -0.6% in December 2015.
The corresponding rate for January 2015 was -0.7%.
l The fluctuations of the Index, with new base year (2015=100) , during the last three months as well as the percentage change
compared with last year are presented in the table below:
